Understanding the Context

1. Understand the Basics

Texas Hold’em is a community card game where each player is dealt two hole cards, then five community cards are dealt face-up in three rounds. The goal is to make the best five-card hand using any combination of your hole cards and community cards.

• Position Matters: Playing later in the buy-in order gives you critical informational advantages over early position players.

Late Position (Big Blind ← → Big Blind):
